Doctor Offices Unclear on the Concept11:04 PM CST (Link)
Today, an assistant to a retina specialist I've been seeing (heh) for a weird eye problem left a message on my answering machine. She said they need to reschedule my Oct. 4 appointment. Why? The doctor has an emergency surgery scheduled for the same time.

How is surgery an emergency if it scheduled two weeks in advance?

The other night, I wanted to check out some prices for various things on the Circuit City web site. They have been bragging in their ad literature that they have completely redesigned their web site to make it easier to use. However, I had no success using their site because their highly touted navigation system wasn't showing up in any browser I tried. So I filled out a customer service form. Here's what I wrote:

MESSAGE: That top nav bar you are so proud of isn't working at all. I tried with both Internet Explorer and with Mozilla.
